The entire move was riddled with confusion and theft. The movers demanded cash on a Saturday night, and when we did not have cash, they drove off with our stuff and forced us to wire additional money into an account with NO INVOICE. Just "Wire $1025.00 or you wont get your belongings." We have two infants in a new city and being held hostage. When the nightmare was over, Real Van Lines and Flat Rate Movers charged us about 3 times what the original estimate was. And chose to Keep our ENTIRE patio set and chairs. They wanted additional cash to unload it. At that point the Police opened a case against them, but they got the money, they got the furniture, and I was stuck with hotel bills and a HORRIBLE experience. ( We are pursuing them on all fronts DOT, Law, and Civil).
