Our move was simple and short, (less than 160 miles), mover showed late with a truck too small, damaged items trying to jam into too small truck. We purchased packing services and company provided unqualified help, packed poorly and then said "up yours" to claims for damages. Not all items were moved first day with no plan to complete the move based on "our information says everything should fit into this truck" Wanted to charge large fee for moving remaining items, (move was quoted as total move not what would fit into truck provided), (not a moving van). Payment demanded at time of loading and again at time of delivery. Extra costs were argued at time of delivery of remainder of items and items were held in locked truck until payment was guaranteed. Very unprofessional performance, packing materials were provided and not credited for on invoice. Very dishonest approach to business, always attempting to blame customer with short fall in services. Not only would I not recommend this company, I am issuing a warning that all is not what they say. As an example of moving knowledge we have a very expensive painting by a a well know artist which was taken off the wall, taken outside, and I found it leaning unprotected up against the rear tire of the too small truck, I havd to take it back into the house and the "movers" did not understand what my concern was. When a claim was submitted for damages we wer essentially turned down flat with the exception of a small offering that would not even cover the broken glass table top, ($171 for a $250 top). Total of our claim was more in then range of $700. Not a godd company, not even a fair company, just a cheap con artist.
