This is such a scam. If I had the time and energy to type 5 pages worth of the fraud and deceit that this company has put me through, I would have no problem. We have been lied to on multiple occasions. They are screening our calls. We have been hung up on repeatedly by "customer service." We can't even get a straight answer about where our stuff is.

Type in Proud American Moving as the legal name and Texas as the state. You will see that they are listed as "Out of Service" which means they are not legally able to operate as a moving company. This is coming from the USDOT and the Federal Mover Carrier Safety Administration. That alone should be enough to convince you to NOT use this company.
When I called and asked them about this issue. They tried to convince me that I was lying and then I was hung up on. Since then, they are screening my calls and will not answer the phone when my number shows up on caller ID. How do I know they have caller ID? Because a customer service representative told me.
If your stuff does not come on time and you try to get ahold of them, you will have the worst experience of your life. My wife and I have probably called over 200 times in the last week. We have talked to a human probably 10 times. And even when we do, we cannot get a straight answer from anyone. When someone doesn't know how to answer a question, they forward your call to voicemail, even if you plead for them not to. When you call back, they beep you straight to voicemail again, without answering your call.
This is the biggest joke of a "company" that I have ever dealt with.
AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAUGE.
My wife and I have next to nothing. We have moved across the country and have been sleeping on an air mattress for the past two weeks. We have nothing but the air mattress, two lawn chairs, a pan for cooking, and the few clothes that we could squeeze into one carry-on suitcase.
If our stuff does not arrive monday, we are legally eligible to file a police report for theft and fraud. I assure you that WILL be done. This company needs to be put out of business before they wrong anyone else.
DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE WITH THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT. YES THEY MAY GIVE YOU A CHEAP QUOTE UP FRONT, BUT DONT LET THAT SUCK YOU IN. We were quoted at 1700, but after our stuff was packed up and put on the truck, that was increased to 5900. UNREAL.
