This was by far the worst moving experience. They left us stranded on the moving day. We had booked them for home move and signed a contract with them. They even sent a guy three days before move to sign the contract and list items.
They were supposed to show up at 2pm on moving day but I did not hear from them. I called them up at 3pm and I was told that they have issue with truck and it will be fixed within an hour. Arpund 4:30 pm I received call from their General Manager saying that they will be very late and can't start the move before 7pm. Then he changed his statement and said they can not do the move until the next day. We got really worried as we had to vacate the apartment on that day.
When I reminded him of the contract that we signed with them and all the back and forth email and conversation to confirm the move - he denied it complately. He said there was no contract. I had the signed contract in my hands and I was astonished to hear him say that. Long story short, we had to call few other places and finally found movers to help us out move that day.
My advice to everyone is NOT to deal with progressive movers! They will leave you stranded on your moving day and would not even acknowledge the contract.
