I must admit in this day and age, there a lots of moving companies that should not be in operation for one reason or another. This is not the case with Professional SelfMoving. They are the best we ever used.
I contacted the company via the Internet (along with 4 other companies). I narrowed my choice down to Pro SelfMoving and another carrier. Pro SelfMoving was a little higher than the other but I did not necessarily want to go strictly with the cheapest as that is not the best course of action in any business you deal with.
I called the company and spoke with Angie. She was very polite and went through the process step-by-step. After going over my list, we were comfortable with the amount of space they quoted us. After reviewing the actual quotes, the other company was trying to sell us less space - which is why they were cheaper. We felt comfortable with the honesty and customer service level so we signed with Pro SelfMoving.
We received a call the day before the trailer was to be dropped and was informed of the spread time for the drop off. We were going to load over the weekend so the trailer was delivered on Friday morning. It was clean, in great shape and had the loading ramp and dolly for us. Also materials were in there for a separation wall in which the driver installed for us when he came back on Monday.
We used one (1) extra foot of space only because my wife changed her mind and wanted to bring some extra items.
Trailer left on Monday morning and we headed out with our 2 children and dog. Arrived in Dallas on Thursday. Jonathan called us when the trailer was getting close and we arranged for delivery on that Friday. We were able to unload the trailer is a few hours and the driver returned late that afternoon to get the trailer.
Throughout the entire process, we were extremely pleased with everything - from the sales agent to the drivers and other people. They even followed up with us a few days after we moved in to check with how things went and to see if we were happy -XXXwhich we were.
The next move will most assuredly be with Pro SelfMoving. Would recommend them to anybody who wants to save money and be treated fairly.
