The movers showed up at 3 p.m. when they were supposed to start at 8 a.m. They finished at 3 a.m. There were holes in the wall. The owner, who doubles as a driver, was part of the crew. He did not apologize for the delay. Instead he informed me that we had a long transaction ahead of us and that I better not get things off on the wrong foot with him. The delivery was a day late. I found out on the morning of delivery that there were issues and my things would arrive until the next day. My furniture had gauges in them. My lamp shades were all broken. A cable on my gym equipment was snapped. Two chairs were broken. I had a hole in my wall. My screen door had been stretched and sagged all over. I had a couple items that were left unassembled, when assembly had been promised. I was handed things to carry in myself. I've had to file complaints with DOT and Better Business Bureau because the owner refuses to send me a check to compensate me for the damages that he personally viewed, as he was the driver for delivery. He even acknowledged over the phone that he hadn't gotten around to sending me a check yet. Completely unprofessional, unethical and nasty to deal with.
