My experience with Presto Moving was great. Having never moved before it was a new experience for my husband and I. When we 1st got the bid it was done by a previous partner in the company, the bid was very reasonable. But then he was no longer with the company and along came Abe. He reassured me that all would be taken care of in a timely manner and would stay as close the the original bid as possible. He was true to his word. The movers came and packed and moved out all our belongings in a matter of a few hours. Keeping in mind we had lived in the house for 28 yrs so there was a lot of "belongings". Our furniture was held in a storage in LA until we had purchased a new home. We bought our new home within 3 weeks of moving to Washington. Abe was able to schedule the move of our belongings quickly.
All the movers were great (forgive me if I don't remember all their names), They were professional and courteous and treated all the belongings well. There were only a couple of small items that were broken but that was most likely due to my lack of packing skills.
This was a very stressful time for husband and myself and having the move go smoothly and at a reasonable price made it so much easier for us.
