We had a short-notice interstate move with no flexibility due to daisy-chained closings (our buyers, our sale, our buy) right when the tax incentive happened to be running out. We were fortunate enough to find Preferred Movers and they not only accommodated our schedule, but did not take advantage of the circumstance, giving us a very reasonable quote... more than 1k less than the next closest bid. This included everything, even the additional stop at the storage rental.
Our crew (led by John) showed up and we knew right away we had the right guys. Not a flaw in the process; they were knowledgeable, careful, patient and even had time to indulge our toddlers chattiness.
This was the first time I have used movers, and I was pretty uptight going into it, but I can honestly say that once this crew showed up, my wife and I relaxed, knowing that all our possessions would be safe.
If we ever have to move again, it will DEFINITELY be with Preferred Movers.
In short, they picked up on a Saturday in NY and delivered that Monday in NH.
Their estimate was not only less than the competition, but they helped pack a few items that were not ready, AND ended up coming in under the estimate. Nothing broken, nothing lost.
