My job transferred me from PA to GA in August - on August 30th my items were to be moved from PA to GA with a free 30 day storage. I began making contact with Susan in dispatch around the middle of Sept to find out what i need to do to get my items delivered and at what point would i have to pay for storage if my items went beyone the 30 days. She informed me that as long as i called prior to the 30 days expiring i would not have to pay for additional days storage. I asked for a delivery date of 10/1/11. I was unable to get the call from Sam (owner) to confirm my delivery date therefore, i missed this delivery date (understandable). Later in the day on the 30th i spoke to Susan who informed me that she did not get my call in time for my items to make the truck for the 1st delivery - again understood. At that point i informed her that i was moving on the 1st and that anytime moving foward i could be available to have my things delivered even it was not on the weekend. She told me on the 30th that my items would "more than likely" be delivered the following weekend as they had a truck leaving NY that up coming Tuesday - the truck would leave NY go to FL (why it would bypass GA and go to FL is still beyond me) and from there be off loaded into a smaller truck to bring to my house. Today (Oct 6th) I rec a call from Susan stating that my items would not be delivered until next Friday the 14th - Sun the 16th! She had a very lackadasical attitude about this whole thing when i explained to her my plans of being out of town due to her telling me on the 30th my items would be delivered this weekend the 8th. Her only statement at that time was that i get a storage unit in GA and/or have someone sit at my house while my items are being delivered! I read the reviews prior to selecting this company - contacted Eddie Kullen, the CS rep and explained my concerns of all the bad reviews - he assured me this was a reputable company and his police retirement/pension was on the line if it wasn't and he wasn't risking that to work for a dishonest company. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE!!!! Forget trying to save a dime and go with the National reputable companies - they will get your items delivered on time and in good condition. I went with Atlas Van Lines to move me from GA to PA and i didn't have half the issues i'm having with Precision - as a matter of fact i didn't have any issues - they were professional, the movers didn't ask for a tip and they all had on uniforms! Do Not go with this company - they will tell you anything to get your money - my uncle is a lawyer and i will be pursuing legal action against them to get my items delivered as well as contact the better business bureau! Please save your time and energy and do not go with this company!
