I would have liked to have written a glowing review, and after reading the previous reviews, I was hopeful. However, Plymouth Rock Van Lines is a dishonest and disreputable company. The sales rep gave me a quote that turned out to be more because he did not factor in packing materials or flights even though I told him where I live. I was told I could put 50% on my credit card and spent the morning of the move trying to get customer service to take my information. They did not until after the move and then sent it to my wrong email address. However, I did not know this as no one called me back until three days later when I kept calling and leaving messages.
I spent an entire day going from the sales department to customer service and leaving my phone number with Paula who seemed to be the only person anyone in this company referred to as having the ability to do anything. The kicker continues to be is that Paula does not return calls. She finally did and then told me I needed to pay the entire cost of the move before they would schedule my delivery. That is counter to the contract which says 50% upon delivery. Because they had my stuff, I paid it. I know that was not appropriate, and I am still waiting to hear from anyone. No one returns a call. I have no idea when my furniture will be here even though it was promised to be here yesterday or today.
I will be submitting a claim and contacting someone when this is over. I have no idea if I'll get my furniture and if so, when. I also have received no call backs other than one time from Paula days after I called. Because of her ineptness, I have no idea when I'll get my delivery. DO not use this company. I am a reasonable person who has become so frustrated with an inept organization.
