We contacted Pierre from Plymouth rock vanlines. pierre@plymouthrockvanlines.com
He said that they will dissemble all furniture pack and reassemble on delivery. He said their company charge for stairs but don't charge for elevators. All was lie. These people are fraud or they don't have idea what kind of arrogant people they recruit for moving and delivery.
1. Liars - Pierre said your estimate is 2100 $ for 1 bedroom + kitchen + hall. I told him dimensions of each item. He calculated the cubic feet which was about 540. Actual was 900 when the driver came for pickup. We dropped 1 big bookcase and 2 night stands and still the driver said you have to pay 900$ more. They took the price from 2100$ to 3100$. The driver said "these office people don't know much and 99% of time the estimate goes up by 50% or more. " What kind of calculation these office people do?
2. Very bad planning- They took our stuff on 16 Nov and said will be delivered around 28 November, Friday. On 28 a coordinator calls me and says truck will deliver on Monday. When I asked him to try Sunday he said the truck driver will tell. The truck driver calls on Saturday and says he can't come on Sunday. He will come on Monday. He later moved it to Tuesday morning saying he was coming from Florida. Why in the world the planning people of Plymouth rock line would send stuff from IL - SC- FL and then to GA?
3. Arrogant and goons - The driver for delivery and his 2 colleagues were not able to speak English. They were shouting all the way. They did not call on Tuesday morning as decided. When we called 3 times, then he said he had some truck issues. He will come at 7 PM Tuesday. They did not know how to communicate and speak respectfully. Finally they came on Tuesday night around 8:30 PM. Then the driver argued over elevator. He said we will charge more because you have elevator. Pierre - Is this what we should expect? You charged for stairs at the pick up location in IL and said no charges for elevator. Teach your delivery guys some manners and what is agreed.
The driver and his 2 colleagues collected cash from us and then unloaded the stuff and just kept in our apartment.
They DID NOT assemble anything.
They DID NOT allow my family to count the items and check the condition because someone called police because of their truck parking and making noise after 9 PM. The driver never listened when we asked him to come between 9 am - 9 PM in the first place
They scared my family, grabbed the paper without any signature and left.
Plymouth rock van lines - YOU OWE AN APOLOGY FOR ALL BAD SERVICE AND SCARING MY FAMILY. PAY BACK ALL THE MONEY FOR SERVICE NOT DELIVERED.
