On November 5th 2013 I received a binding quote from Platinum Van Lines to pick up my furniture from a home in Franklin Va and deliver it to Ocala Fl. Since I needed to travel 650 miles to meet the van for pickup I needed a guaranteed pickup date for which I paid an extra $95.00 for a pickup on November 10. After I had left to go to Virginia I was called on the 9th and told that they could not pick up my furniture until the 11th. Finding this acceptable I agreed. However I was called on Sunday and informed that they could not come on Monday but that they MIGHT be able to pick it up on Wednesday. Realizing that they might not show up Wed. either I hired a more reliable company to move.
