At first, I didn't know which moving company to use. The business of using a professional moving company was a bit new to me the first time around, but I guess I was so satisfied with their work that I just assumed I'd already come here to write a review.
The movers are super-nice. They work quickly but handle your stuff with care. These aren't the movers who are gonna look at your stuff with a look in their eyes that says, "What the bleep is all this bleep?" (I've had movers give me that look, and it's makes me both infuriated and self-conscious.) Side note: you'd do well to remember the names "Fred" and "Wolfgang". I'm sure they must handle a lot of clients, and I don't know how they do it, but they're always so consistently friendly, conversational, and willing to help you through the move.
The trick is to really have your stuff prepared. You're trying to make the move as seamless for them as you want it to be for you. Follow their guidelines about using boxes and taking inventory. Prior to your move, these guidelines will be sent to you along with a bunch of other important paperwork. That way, you get everything in writing. I was even given a follow-up call after my move, I was so pleased with the service that I called them myself and gave my praises for the quality service that I received for very reasonable price. That's another praise for this company: consistency!
They functioned with a charming approachability that didn't add any trouble on top of what is generally already a stressful experience. Someone else's review said that these are guys you'd wanna have over "to your next bbq". I agree 100%. These guys are totally chillaxed. Even when you're moving from just one end of the city to the other, and even when you've got everything packed, you won't believe how much of your life gets sucked away by the awful business of commuting and subsequent unpacking. You need movers who will give you one less thing to worry about. Here's your answer.
