Several review and the company's own contract indicate they hold your belongings on the truck until you have paid. This is illegal in some states and allows extortion. Some online reviews of this company report extortion and other crooked activity. The positive reviews may be of one of several other "Personal Touch" moving companies or may be written by the company itself. Of three review sites, only this one has a single positive review of this company. Reviews on the other sites are all negative.
Insist on reading the contract before giving them your credit card number. They took my deposit before I gave my electronic signature and after I told them orally that I didn't want to use them. Reviewers report high-cost required wrapping that doubles the original estimate or more, and refusal to unload when people object to the extra charges, so people have to pay them whether or not the price is what they were told.
When I read their contract, I knew I didn't want to use them and I told them so, but they took their deposit from my credit card anyway. I think they used different names to confuse the Better Business Bureau.
