I called PVL on 7/15 and they provided a 48 hour window for pick up on 7/21-7/22. On 7/20 at 9:30pm, I received a call informing me that pick up would be on 7/21 betwen 3-6pm. At 3pm, I called PVL and they informed me that they had made a mistake and p/u would be on 7/22 from 3-6pm. At 3pm on 7/22, I called PVL and they informed me, without explanation, that they no longer had a truck to pick me up and could not provide any estimate on when p/u would be.
Each day after 7/22, I spoke with PVL by phone at least twice and they were unable to provide a p/u date. Their response was completely unsatisfactory and boiled down to this each time:
-sorry, but there's nothing we can do
-we have no idea when you will be picked up
-we *may* compensate you for your lost time
-you can cancel with us, but we will provide you no relief for the time you have lost
On 7/28, a cancellation specialist called me and gave me an ultimatum: cancel with us or allow us to extend your pick up window to 5 Aug. If you decide to extend the window and find a different mover, you will lose your deposit.
I decided to cancel my move with them and they offered nothing for wasting my time. Nothing.
I have contacted the BBB regarding this company.
It is important to note that they are a BROKER and do not own any trucks. Therefore, they have no real control over p/u or delivery.
DO NOT USE THEM!
