Paramount Movers is Highly Unreliable and Unresponsive

I used Paramount Movers for my small scale local move this month and had the most terrible experience with them, even though their rates were really cheap. They were supposed to move me 10/1 between 2-4 PM, and never showed up that day. I tried calling the phone number they gave me in case of problems, and got voicemail every time because the office was closed. I didn't hear from the crew until 6:45pm, when they told me they would be delayed at least a couple of hours. After waiting until 9:45 to hear from them, we had to reschedule for the next day.
Customer service was completely unresponsive and rude. The foreman offered only a 5% discount, which was only about $17. Considering I had to take off work the next day to move unexpectedly, I lost a ton of money due to the unreliability of the company. They refused to give a bigger discount, telling me that they would lose money on my move. The foreman was very rude and then said that it was more economical for them to cancel my move. They have horrible customer service and didn't care about the inconvenience and expensed that their lack of service caused me.
When they finally did show up the next day (late again), they broke my glass coffee table and again refused to make any adjustments to the charges. They are more concerned about their bottom line than pleasing their customers. Paramount Movers is unreliable, unresponsive and doesn't care about their customers. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I would not wish this experience on anyone.
