I hired these guys to move my office one block up 2nd st. Seems lazy right? Well it turns out our office of 15 people accumulated an extraordinary amount of junk over our stay in the previous location.
The movers showed up promptly at the appointed time, and I was immediately impressed. They got right to work and did not stop to take a break. Upon arriving at the new building we discovered that the security guard had left for the night (even though we paid to have a security guard on duty) and had failed to open up the loading dock. I informed the mover in charge that they would have to use the handicap ramp to move everything in and he didn't even bat an eye. He told his guys and they were actually enthusiastic about the challenge! They weren't even fazed when we set the building alarm blaring (apparently you can't have the handicap ramp door open for more than 30 seconds after hours... my bad).
Even the guy driving the truck was pro. He quickly maneuvered that behemoth as close as possible to the ramp while working with less than 10" of space on each side.
In the end, they were done before their estimated completion time and the final price was well below the original quote as well. Did I mention they hauled away all our crappy furniture and trash to dump as well? That was sweet.
