Worst Moving Company Ever

Absolutely the worst moving experience imaginable. They are incredibly expensive, and they promise the world - but treated us, and our move, like scum. A few favorite tidbits: dumping a full bathroom trashcan upside down in the box with all our linens. Disgusting! Dumping an open box of cocoa powder into a large box of kitchen goods. And so on. It was as if they deliberately tried to make the move as unpleasant as possible by doing little, nasty things. Nothing big that we would see before they left, but dozens and dozens of little, nasty things that almost made us feel like our home had been robbed or vandalized. That, plus charging us for what appears to have been a four hour lunch and god only knows what else. And leaving so much stuff at our old house that we literally had to take a pick up truck over there 5 times to gather up all the things they hadn't moved (all of my kids shoes, the safe, small pieces of furniture, suitcases, you name it!) It was a local move and I had done a lot of packing myself (all the fine china, etc., thank goodness), and spent hours and hours going back to our old place to gather all the things they had left - but they still charged over $8000!!! Horrible company. Oh, and when we complained, the VP for sales said it was our fault for not supervising the workers more closely. We paid for a high-end moving company to avoid some of the hassles of the move. Boy, did we get ripped off! We paid through the nose and avoided none of the hassles....I would NEVER use them again.
