Run, do not walk away from the company and its companion company Metro Express. The same deceitful people run both companies. Everything I was told by their representatives was an outright lie or a malicious misrepresentation of their capabilities and intent. The cost was jacked up from the initial bid, despite my having submitted a detailed inventory. I was particularly displeased when a Metro Express driver and van turned up to pick up my things when I had only been dealing with Oceans Moving. The delivery took over three weeks, despite the company director’s promise that it would be delivered in less than 1 week. Then, despite my explicitly identifying the antique pieces which needed the most protection, 2 tables arrived with broken legs, and as anyone familiar with antiques knows, much of the value is in the legs, 1 table’s pedestal is so badly damaged It cannot even be repaired, and a Windsor chair had its arm pulled out from the seat. This is simply the WORST COMPANY EVER TO DEAL WITH IN TERMS OF MANAGEMENT AND EXECUTION OF ITS RESPONSIBILITIES. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO EVERY RELEVANT AGENCY.
