Northern Van Lines CANCELLED OUR ORDER LATE ON THE DAY THE PICKUP WAS SUPPOSED TO OCCUR.The process of getting a quote was straightforward. A pickup date was set. We paid the deposit on time. The furniture was packed, labelled and ready to go. I took a day off work so I could be home when the mover came. The mover never came. I called Northern late that afternoon. After three hours of playing phone tag Northern first made the excuse that the truck was broken down. About two more hours, and Northern told me they were cancelling the move. Southwest Colorado was too hard to service.
I will never, never, never, never consider using or recommending this company that has so little integrity again.
The deposit was refunded, about 10 days after the cancellation. So, I did pay about a month of credit card interest on the deposit they took.
