Here is my story which is alot like others. They picked up my stuff from a storage facility in CO, once loaded told me my total weight went from 1400 to 4150 and that in order to have my things delivered I would have to pay the balance in full. I had already paid $470 for my deposit but was very upset because I was going to have to come up with more than double what I thought I was going to have to. It would have been cheaper for me to rent a truck and have a friend drive it to VA at this point so I asked if I could have someone pick it up at their storage, Sean told me that I could but I would have to pay them over $600 more just to pick it up. I argued that I KNEW there was no way my stuff could weigh what they were claiming it weighed and he said I could have it re weighed here in VA but that I would still have to pay the full amount prior to delivery and then be refunded any/if the weight was in fact less. He did however tell me that the original 1400 lbs would be charged at .89 and they would cut me a break for the adtl amount at .54. They were also trying to charge me $218 for packing materials that Robert had told me was included in the quote. Sean told me they would waive that also. I asked him to email me the new quote. After working extra to come up with the money my stuff was on its way. I paid the full balance to the driver who was with MCI trucking and he assured me in difference would be handed back to me at the weight station. After the re weigh I was right!!! My total weight was not 4150 it was 2761. The driver did give me a refund but not what I was entitled to. He gave me $502. instead of correct amount of $1102. And refused to give the rest saying that is all I was getting back cause that is what the dispatcher told him to refund me. They decided to change my quote that I had in writing of anything after the 1400 lbs to be at .54 to .89, that I was not getting the packing material fees back, Sean stated he never said that I was not going to have to pay that. Now mind you before the delivery I also spoke to Amy who stated she was one of the owners and assured me she was in charge of the refunds and I would get any money I was owed. A couple days after delivery she told me that she would refund me an adtl $383 for the weight difference and see what she could do about the $218 packing materials. She told me it was done and it could take up to 72 hrs for it to be in my bank acct. Nothing appeared when I asked her she said that the company would not allow her to refund me any more money and after many discussions that there was nothing else she could do for me. I argued my case because I explained to her that on top of the above costs they also overcharge me over $100 in the fuel surcharge. On June 18 she said she would refund me $150 but that was it and told me she was shutting off her phone. It is June 20 and still no money! Now most of our conversations with Amy is by text so I have it all in writing along with my quote. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Commission...http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/forms/public/com-com-form.htm, which all of you that have this horrible experience should also do. I may not be enough for them to do anything to this scamming company but if we all stick together maybe we can stop them from causing other people such stress in the future. During this whole time dealing with this company I could never get anyone to answer, get calls back. I had to call all the time to get to even talk to someone.
