I scheduled my move 3.5 months in advance after looking around, getting quotes and checking USDOT info. The day before my move date, I was told the movers would arrive between 1-3pm. At 230pm the mover called to say he was delayed and would arrive around 11pm. I live in a 4th floor apt with exterior stairs and a long dark driveway; I wasn't sure why the mover thought moving my stuff in the middle of the night was appropriate. I tried to contact customer service, dispatch and my primary contact and secondary contact multiple times thoughtout the day but all lines went directly to voicemail. I finally contacted the mover at 930pm and cancelled my move. I received multiple calls over 24 hours after my scheduled move was supposed to occur from the dispatch and James stating that my move would happen in 2 days - they didn't apologize; they didn't acknowledge that I had called and left several messages. I wrote them additional emails explaining why I had cancelled my move after I had already told the mover I was cancelling as well as stating that same information the prior day on several voicemail messages. I would not trust my belongings to a company who hires movers that believe it is professional and reasonable to attempt a move in the middle of the night nor a company that I cannot get ahold of and doesn't return phone calls.
