This company is like most of the smaller moving companies that will quote a low price based on an inventory list. Unfortunately, they estimate low and then SLAM you when they arrive, where they can charge you double what was agreed to in the contract. Their quotes are only binding for their company and when you complain, they blame you for the mistake. I discussed every item, in detail, with the sales rep that I would be moving and was quoted $1,800. the movers called the day before and said they'd be arriving the next day and to have 50% of the cost ready. They would take a credit card, but there'd be a 6% transaction fee. This was the first red flag, as I had been told there'd be a 3% fee for credit cards by the company earlier. Then when the movers arrived, they claimed that there were more items than were agreed on and that the cost would be approximately $3,400. How did we go from $1,800 to $3,400? Because they charge 150% of the contracted rate per cu ft. When I called to complain, they said I had to talk to customer service and kept me on hold for about 15 minutes. When somebody's did finally get on the phone, he barely spoke English and proceeded to tell me that I did not correctly inform the sales person of the items and would therefore have to remove items, pay the $3,400 or send the movers away and be out the $450 deposit. Amazingly, the sales person magically disappeared when all of this was going on. Needless to say, I sent away the movers because I am unable to afford what they were charging and will probably never see the $450 again. Save yourself the trouble and go with a company that gives estimates when they view they items at your home. It's the only way to get a reliable quote. I promise you will get ripped off going with this company, and am convinced any positive reviews on here are from the company itself.
