The sales guy was good and professional. It wasn't the lowest quote but was reasonable for the move. Chose because he was the most professional. It went downhill from there.
The local movers, L&J near Philadelphia, had a women who did not keep me up to date and had no professionalism.
The truck did not show up the day it was supposed to do so and nobody called me to tell me why. I had to track down information via the sales guy who was, again, the only helpful person in the move.
The next day somebody showed up with a local truck to take my things to their warehouse rather than on a long distance trailer. Things were moved around, things not normally packed (cushions, etc) were stuck in boxes to add extra room and more. So the things weren't loaded and unloaded once each. They were unloaded at the local warehouse and reloaded eventually on a truck.
When the truck got to me, the unpackers were less than ok. One was standing on the face of my filing cabinet. He damaged it but didn't break it. Everything was quickly unloaded, I was pressured to sign and told to fill out a form later as I unpacked if I found damage.
I did find damage, including minor damage to my motorcycle I didn't see as they rolled it off. It was a crack in black plastic, hard to see. In addition, the bottom half of one standing fan was missing, most of the light bulbs in my lamps had been removed and thrown away (no clue why), my desk was broken and more.
I gave it a couple of months, as they said I had, to see if there were any problems, then sent in the claim form.
The letter from corporate refused almost all damage claims, not even reimbursing for the things that clearly disappeared while in their custody.
They are not a company anyone should trust.
