Worst Service Ever

This was the absolute worst moving experience I have ever had. I was moving a studio apt. 6 blocks away in NYC. I requested an 11am moving time weeks before the move. The day before the move, I was told the movers would be there after 10am and before 12pm. 12pm, and no movers. I had to make 3 phone calls to the company before I was told an hour and half later that they would be there at 3pm. I asked for some sort of discount due to the late arrival and was given the run around: "speak to a supervisor... but no one is available" "call back in 10 minutes" "I cant' do anything to help you" "just let the move get started and see how it goes" "things happen, this is a tough job" - in addition to all of this nonsense, I was put on hold for 20 - 30 mins, cleary they had no intention of helping me. The movers finally showed up at 4:30pm - over 5 hours late! And then it took them 5 hours to move a studio sized apartment. It was ridiculous. Between the worst customer service and horrible lateness, and ridiculous amount of time it took to complete the easy job, this is easily the worst moving company out there. They also said I could rent wardrobe boxes and then charged me full price for them. Stay clear of these movers!
