DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are operating under a false name. Check with Florida Secretary of State under both names. You will see it is the same officer and same registered agent. They changed their name to take advantage of good customers. When I read reviews under Statewide Relocation, I noticed that had done the same thing to other customers as they had done to me, except under a different name.
They lure you in with a competitive quote, but then once they load your items, they tell you it will be more. All your items are loaded so you are between a rock and a hard place. The guy that loaded my items literally told me that it will cost more because my items were "bulky" and were taking up more room on the truck than they anticipated. But every item they loaded was on the inventory sheet prior to move. Never did anyone explain to me anything about bulk nor is this an objective/fair way to charge someone.
They deliver my items (Finally) and I am missing an oakwood bookcase and a 55' Samsung flatscreen. Initially I tried to hold the remainder of the money until they unloaded and set up my things, but the mover said he would not unload truck until I paid him. Against my better judgment, I paid them first and noticed my things were missing. He suggested I go through the claims department. I thought certainly I could call the company and they would make it right, but it was Sunday and they were not open. I had to wait until Monday and I have been given the run around ever since. Their claims process entitles you to $0.60 per lb. A flatscreen is 20 lbs and their claims department refund would not come near the cost. My thinking is they stole the items and knew they only have to reimburse based on weight. It was in their care the entire time. Now I have to get a lawyer in Fla and sue them.
Please save yourself the hassle and employ a more reputable company because this one is terrible. Not to mention, they damaged two items-the leg on a couch and leg on a chair.
People, do your due diligence. It takes 5 minutes to check with secretary of state. http://www.dos.state.fl.us/
Go under corporations and enter new times moving and statewide relocation. same company. These positive reviews are fake. Go to Yelp and see what people are saying about statewide. This company should be out of business. Also check out the Better Business Bureau in South Florida. They link the two companies and you can check out bad reviews on them there. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM.
