I will never use this company again nor would I suggest them to anyone else considering a move. They were three days late coming to get my stuff and only with much haggling was I able to get a little more than a 50 dollar discount for this (70 dollars). They never called to let me know that the truck was not coming on the appointed day or at any time during the move itself until the morning of the day the truck arrived in D.C. I always had to call them. I was also not informed until the morning of the drop off that there would be an extra 300 dollar cost for renting a smaller van to get into my neighborhood, a fact which could have been part of the initial estimate but was not.
While the representative I talked to when I verbally agreed to use this company seemed sure there would not be many additional charges, the total cost of this move was nearly double their initial estimate. Granted, I did not have them come to do a physical survey of the items to be moved, but their estimate of 1000 lbs for my things was way off. All representatives I dealt with on the phone were consistently curt and unhelpful. Overall, an awful experience.
