I have moved 9 times in the past 4 years. Every mover that I have used up until now has been great! The three guys were work horses. The problem arose when it came time to move my bedroom set which I had purchsed 2 years ago from Ashley. It was VERY expensive and VERY heavy, which is why I hired three guys to move me. I gave SPECIFIC instructions on how to move this furniture as it has marble tops and is very large. They did not listen to my instructions until after I got very upset that they were tearing up the condo that I was moving into as well as my furniture. Over 50% of the drawers runners were broken. The decorative pieces on my side tables were broken off. The screw holes holding my mirror and headboard were stipped to where they will not hold my mirror in place. They banged the furniture all over the walls up the steps leaving damage to the walls and chipping the finish on the furniture (which they called normal wear and tear). In the past, the movers that I used would send someone out to repair the damages. Their customer service GETTING your business is very good, their customer service in setteling a claim is quite the opposite. I submitted pictures of the damage (which they felt was not good) but never did they call to ask for others. I had to chase the claim for weeks with no return calls that were promised. It is a very subjective process and of course their opinion. No one ever came out to look at the damage (which I have never in 9 moves had happen). After many many telephone calls the total amount they offered me for the damages that they incurred to my $5000.00 bedroom set was $6.00. I thought I was doing a good job by hiring three men (which by the way is more expensive) to PREVENT this from occuring. It was an insult and a poor way to do business.
