It took me awhile to sift through the 19 different companies to get to Nationwide. Nationwide was the only one that did not keep pestering me. Other companies kept calling and emailing, sometimes even after I told them to stop. Once I was down to 6, I sent out more requests for information. Nationwide did not try to give me a long story or incorrect information. Other companies kept contradicting their own information, while trying to find out who I was considering and why they would be bad. Then I started looking at all the customer reviews, etc.. I was quickly down to 3 companies. I don't expect every company that has been in business for some time to be perfect, because there are always people who are unhappy and need to make others suffer. However, I do check to see how the company handles issues. Based on what I read, Nationwide made the best and consistent attempts to resolve issues, even when it was obvious that they were going out of their way and the customers were being ridiculous. In the meantime, the other 2 companies were applying pressure to sign up and pay the deposit, while only giving 3-day pickup windows, 10-21 business-day dropoff windows, and telling me that BBB complaints should be ignored. Looking further at the Nationwide issues, it was clear that Racheal was the person trying to resolve and explain. So I called and spoke to her directly. It was a great conversation and I decided to go with Nationwide. I am glad I did. As soon as I told the other 2 companies that I had decided on my movers, they became obnoxious and rude and I had to block their calls and emails. From that point, all the communication was good, the process was good and no surprises. Lisandro, Ruben and Junior were fantastic! The best crew I have ever had. They explained everything, took the time to mark everything, wrap what needed to be wrapped, packed without crushing anything, moved a 730lb safe without damage to anyone or anything, delivered in 3 days and nothing was broken! Nothing! I have never had nothing broken before! I don't plan on moving for a long time, but if I do, I'm not going to waste time - I will call Racheal to set it up and ask for Lisandro to handle the move.
