Driving south to move, we saw a Nationwide Van Line moving van on I95 and called to get information for an upcoming move in two weeks. Alana answered my call about our move from SC to ME. Expecting someone would come for the estimate, as the other three companies were to do, I was surprised she took all my information over the phone and gave me a detailed firm quote based on my house, garage, and garden contents. She was professional, knowledgeable, patient, and asked all the right questions. Over the next few days, she was proactively in touch and answered any questions I had. She was able to get me the pickup date range I requested and the delivery timeframe we needed. If she wasn’t there, Rachael was there for me and was equally knowledgeable. They gave me advice on how many boxes to purchase or acquire, where to get the best boxes, which items should be packed by movers. They explained how everything would be packed. We discussed the access options for pickup and delivery locations.
As our pickup date neared, I received more details from Manny and others involved with my detailed requirements. I was told a few days before pickup who our team lead would be and that Lisandro would be our driver and how good he was. Alana told me he was in the industry for 17 years and had been with Allied and that he was the best. And was she right!
Lisandro and Rueben and Gorge were the best, most competent, professional packers and movers I have ever experienced. And the nicest, warmest men. I knew immediately our move was in the best hands. They worked expeditiously, carefully, cheerfully, tirelessly, and our belongings were treated with amazing care. It was a joy to see them five days later in Maine where we had two drop-offs.
The van was clean, well-lit, and packed to absolute perfection. We knew we were in the best hands and felt so fortunate and smart that we chose Nationwide Van Lines.
