Forget that they showed up a day or two after they were supposed to pick up and deliver, that is the least of my problems with them. They show up 2 hours late to PACK and MOVE me out of a condo, which has a time limit. Before they can start, they give me a stack of papers that I have to read and sign. This pressures me to sign without thoroughly reading. They have to call in 2 temp workers (with no packing or moving experience) to try and get the job done. One of these kids is so inexperienced he tries to pack wine glasses on the bottom of a box and puts pots and pans on top. One of them says they cannot pack my box of costume jewelry because they can't be liable, the other one turns around and takes the box of jewerly and dumps it (and I mean dumps it) into a box with electronic equipment and wires. I watch them toss my TV on top of a stack of boxes in the truck. I called and talked to the manager (several times throughout this ordeal) and tell her I'm concerned that my TV won't make it. I pay extra for "CRATING" of my two flat screen TVs. They place a mirror box over each, which does not completely cover either TV, and tape it to the TV. They cannot provide me with an estimated delivery date for more than a week. They tell me my items are taking longer to arrive because they didn't want to remove them from the original truck. The next person I talk to tells me that my items are in a warehouse in NJ. They pile lies upon lies. When they finally arrive, they have lost 6 boxes. The TV I watched them toss on the truck has mysteriously also disappeared. Several items of furniture are damaged (one table has a dirty footprint on it, apparently they needed a ladder). They broke the leg to my Yamaha keyboard (because they did not remove the legs from my keyboard when they packed it).The mover tells me "it's just pressed wood", implying that's just a cheap piece of furniture anyway. The mover stands in my apartment for an hour trying to get me to sign a receipt saying that all of the boxes arrived. After much, much fighting, I get a check for $500 for all of the damage and lost items. I would like to say that these people are a joke, but there is nothing funny about the horror their unfathomable incompetence and incredible dishonesty caused me. Run the other way, and run fast.
