This company contracted our move out to another company, which contracted our work out to yet another company. We had to sign contracts from three different companies, and almost ended up getting taken advantage of. The actual moving company that they set us up with told me that our household goods weighed in at twice the amount of the estimate! They then offered me a few hundred dollars to agree to not reweigh; I said no thank you. When I witnessed the reweigh, it totaled a number that was significantly less then what they originally weighed without me. They're crooks! I saved over $1000 by completing the reweigh, and they got caught red handed!
As for Nationwide Relocation Services, they were payed half of the original estimate price and did next to no work for it. I had to call the movers myself, find out the times when they were going to be at both places, and deal with all of the problems that occurred during the move. The only thing they did was sit behind their desk and pretend to write down anything I told them.
Relo Van Lines was, I guess, the second contracted mover. However, I was never informed that I had been contracted through three different moving companies. When I asked, they said that Relo Van Lines and Nationwide Relocation Services were the exact same company. Why have two names then?
All three companies are crooks! Stay away from them! Use Uhaul and you will be much happier!
