Where do I start? Job was contracted to at least 2 companies that I know of. First company was just OK since I was promised my brand new Honda Goldwing would be handled with the utmost care. They show up in a standard box van with a lift and had to drive the bike onto the lift. In the van my bike was not even strapped down, just stuff piled around it. Delivering company were the worst movers I ever laid eyes on. The mirror on my motorcycle was ripped off. Drivers response? "Call my manager" and "file a claim". Boxes were crushed and stored upside down. A box with my printers in it is gone, about 600 dollars. Another box with rare plastic models in it is gone, about 1000/1200 retail dollars. Thing is the guy that packed it was all over it admiring them going, "I want these, these are so cool, always wanted to get back into this." This was my hobby and a few cannot be replaced without paying top dollar. Movers refused to carry any box over 30 pounds into my basement and totally refused to take my washer and dryer into the basement. They left them in my yard in the rain. The driver started yelling and screaming that it's not his job, "Call my manager, call the police" Let's just say this company does not give a hoot about performance of the people they contract. But they sure want money in the form of deposits and payment BEFORE they move your belongings. My rep, Steve Queen was all nicey nice but that does not change the outcome. Needless to say I have not even found all the things broken or gone yet. These guys were not movers, UPS could have done a better job.
