My overall experience with “National Relocation Solutions” was nothing less than a nightmare. They lie, they break your stuff, and they lose your things. All the stuff that you carefully pack and prepare for moving, they just simply lose or break! They don’t give a damn to customer satisfaction or anything like that! They just try to trap you and then get as much as possible out of you!
My story is that last year, September 2014, I was moving from Pennsylvania to California. I was trying to find a good moving company and I was trapped by this “National Relocation Solutions”. Someone named Danny called me. He said that I will receive a professional service and my moving with “National Relocation Solutions” will be smooth and convenient. He said that throughout the process he will be next to me to assure a high quality and ease of mind service. I asked if they have a storage in California, he said we have storage. But didn’t tell me that their storage is in Baltimore, and not California! This was the first lie! Then I checked their DOT number, it said they have 19 trucks with 20 drivers. Then I tried to check reviews. At that time there were no yelp reviews (not sure why!) and other web sites were filled by 4 or 5 star reviews! They got my trust, I was doomed!
One week later, I provided them my new address and they promised that they will send my stuff in a month. Next week Danny completely disappeared and I tried to contact office directly to follow! They said that my stuff are on the way! After a month, when I was expecting to receive my things, I called them to check. They said all my stuff are yet at their storage! You can’t believe how I felt!
They said in a week they will send them. Then I called them week after week, and they just said next week your items will be shipped! More than two months had passed and all this time I was sleeping on floor in my new apartment, being excited to have moved to California! You fill as if they have stolen your things and you will be more than happy to get anything back! At that time even I was thinking of taking a flight, going back to Baltimore, picking up my documents and give the rest to them and finish that!
After about three months they sent my things. The driver didn’t call until he was just an hour away; on a Saturday evening. He said that he only accepts cash, no check, no nothing! I was lucky to find a bank open and get cash! They had lost my TV, and couple of my boxes. All the boxes that you carefully pack, they just don’t care and lose them!
I filed a claim with the claim company that works with them, moving claims.net. After several months, they approved 60$ for my TV and all the other stuff they had lost, a 700$ value at least! And now as of mid-April 2015, even I have not received that 60$ yet!
Now I just checked their reviews; filled up with 4 and 5 stars again! I am coming to the conclusion that all these 4 star and 5 star reviews are fake and they themselves make them up to trap customers, as did with me! People, be advised and don’t fall into their trap!
