I just moved from MD to CA. First they came without blankets, so when stuff arrived all furniture were with scratches. Once they loaded boxes they said it is not 300 cf and 900$ but 450 cf and I have to pay 1400$. I measured with a ruler (I got 280 cf) and we were arguing for 2 hours and since they said that will unload all stuff and I had no choice at that point I agreed on 1067$ flat rate. The truck came not in a week (how was in contract) but was late for another 2 weeks, and once came the owner called and said I have to pay 250$ extra since manager who made contract is stupid and he fired her already (which was lie - I called during all this 3 weeks trying to find out where is the truck, and she always pick up phone).
Yes the price at the beginning was low, but I moved recently from CA to MD and paid the same and had no problem at all.

it is look like driver knew people from the company since he was became very rude once he find out that I'm going to pay only 250$ (along the contract) rather then 500$ what owner want.
