i have moved alot, especially in my early twenties. i usually move with a haul or a budget truck and then hire laborers from one of several services. its worked for me plenty of times. this time when looking to acquire labor i contacted moving pros. i had estimated my total cost at about $2200 when i factored in truck rental, gas, labor, hotel stays, and misc. expenses. in the beginning of my call with moving pros they told me they didn’t offer strictly labor, but insisted i take 5 minutes to get a quote from them for a full service move. by the end of the phone call they pretty much had me sold. they ended up bringing the truck to my house, loading it all up, and getting it down to my new home with resemble and furniture placement for only 2400$. it was well wroth the extra 200$ to not have to drive and be able to fly. also their move covered insurance on my items which most truck rentals do not. this was a great company to work with..
