I hired Moishe's for a two-bedroom move from New York to Chicago. Pickup and delivery both occurred on schedule. But along the way, Moishe's damaged two items of furniture and lost several boxes, including one box that contained irreplaceable family photos. When I tried to recover some of the losses, Moishe's played games with the insurance. It took a year of constant battle with the company, including an in-person visit to their main office in NYC, before I received reasonable monetary compensation. In the end Moishe's did compensate me, but the pain and effort were wasteful and frustrating, and the photos were never found. On the plus side, at least they did respond to my email and phone calls, and they were polite and seemed to carry out some kind of search for the missing boxes. My recommendation is to avoid this company, but if you do end up using them, label everything very carefully, check the list of items upon arrival to make sure everything has arrived before you sign any forms, make sure you know what you are getting with the insurance (insuring by weight is useless), and transport anything that is precious by yourself.
