Metro Van Lines was very attentive until they had my order. Then: they weren't able to pick up until a week after I wanted it done. They were very hard to reach and I would call and get busy signals or get cut off. They finally picked up and then I didn't hear anything from them for over a week and they didn't seem to know where my things were. They didn't find a carrier to move my things until about 2 weeks after pickup. When they finally did, I was given the truck drivers number and he was actually great and delivered in about 5 days. Upon receipt I had many damaged items. They had been very careless in packing and moving and many glass items were broken, my mattress was ripped, 2 antique dressers were cracked in places, and another TV stand was broken in 2 different areas. Glass on paintings was cracked and had to be replaced. I'm trying to figure out now how to file a claim against them to get reimbursed for the damage.
