This move was and still is a nightmare. After they loaded the truck they tried to increase the price from $3660 to $5200. When I refused to pay it they held our belongings hostage for 30 days and tacked on an additional $1800 for storage. When I brought attention to the fact that they advertise free storage for 30 days they told me it didn't apply. They attempted to charge my card without authorization in the amount of $4926 but my bank caught it. They had a photo of my credit card from when I paid the $800 deposit and they got the expiration date wrong. My bank declined the payment and confirmed it with me. I had to cancel the card and get a new one so they wouldn't keep attempting the charges. I received a call from their attorney, Osnat Dorot, who claimed to have the signed authorization for the charge. I told her I needed a copy of it immediately because if it was signed "by me" it was a forgery. I have continued to make requests for the authorization to no avail. I still don't have a copy. Finally the carrier called me and told me if I added and additional $350 and paid him directly he would deliver it the next day. I did it so I could have my furniture and I received my delivery the next day. Unfortunately, ever single item they delivered was damaged, most of it beyond repair. There were several items missing, that I watched them load on the truck. I have had to replace nearly everything. I filed an insurance claim and will most likely have to sue them. The insurance company said I can't file a claim if I owe a balance. I told the story and I'm still waiting to hear from them. I am also filing a complaint with the PUC. These people shouldn't just be closed down, they belong in prison for theft, credit card fraud and vandalism.
