Let me start by saying this is the worst long distance company I never used. Pickup was prompt and good, after they packed the truck they then told me that they was going to switch trucks to a long distance truck service. I was assured that everything was going to be fine.
Well the move from New York to Florida turn out bad. After waiting for my goods in Florida I call them to ask where the truck was and was told it would be late ( about a week late. ) because the truck still didn't arrive back from Florida. Now I had to spend more money on things I needed in the house again.
Moving truck arrive, some damage to some item but here the kicker the driver and crew had five loads of other people items. They unloaded me and assure me that all my belonging came off the truck. I then asked them to please check but he told me that he got them all and if anything was missed Merit Van Lines, Inc would UPS me the boxes but that never happen.
Out of 275 articles of my I was missing about 10 boxes. I tried to contact Merit Van Line but was unable to reach them and no one even try to return my calls. So I'm out items I will never be able to place.. Watch these guys if you're moving out of state..
