I chose Men On The Move after receiving their email quote. The quote was easy to fill out and they responded within 30 mins of my online request for a moving quote. The other company that I requested an online quote from did not get back to me until I called them three days later, and it was about $200 more than Men on the Move was asking. After choosing Men On The Move the booking process was really easy. One phone call and everything was set up. I moved two pull out couches (one love seat and one sofa) from West Hempstead to Valley Stream. The official quote (the quote I received after booking the move) was about $400 and the initial online quote was about $315. However after the move was finished the actual price of the move was only $338. I need to note that my apartment requires certificates of insurance and a movers license. The fee for providing these documents to my apartments management company was $25. This is included in the total moving cost of $338. The gentlemen who moved the couches were so professional, courteous and friendly. My move was scheduled from 12 to 2, they called me at 1045 to see if they would be able to start early. They got to West Hempstead at 1110 (they didn't start until 1130 due to my lateness), finished moving everything into the truck by 12 and were done moving the couches into my place by 1245. They made sure both items were wrapped well during the move and made sure that they were exactly where I wanted them in my apartment. I will certainly use Men on the Move the next time I am ready to move.
