I moved from Massachusetts to Washington more than a month ago. I was informed approx. 2-3 weeks after pick-up (mid July) that my household goods were ready to be delivered in Washington. Since I didn't have an address and I was out of state, the company put my goods into storage. It has been a nightmare ever since. I was ready with a residence for delivery prior to August 1st, but that was the day I wanted my stuff delivered. When I tried to schedule delivery, I was informed that the company had up to 12 days from August 1st to deliver my goods. I was never told about this prior to. A few days later I was informed that I could expect delivery sometime between the 5th and the 8th of August; I would get a phone call 24-48 hours prior to delivery to tell me what specific day my stuff would be delivered. Today is the 7th, and with no phone call, I called the company, only to find they had pushed back the delivery day to sometime between the 12-15 and just failed to let me know. I, however, am going to be out of town for those days. The company had pretty much told me tough and aren't taking any responsibility for dropping the ball. This matter is still unresolved. This company was book for me through Delta Van Lines.
