I picked this Matrix Movers based on the excellent online reviews. Unfortunately my experience was no where near excellent. my furniture was picked up by a different company who tried to charge me double the negotiated price. After hours of intense phone calls, I finally told them to unload the truck, I refused to pay more. At that time they admitted making a mistake and went with the negotiated price. When my furniture arrived 12 days later, the driver did not have the packing slips. They arrived in a rented Penske truck which was not what it left in. The drivers were unprofessional and had lost the wheels on the bed. There were missing boxes. The boxes that arrived were severely damaged and lots of damaged and broken items. Our clothes had a musty smell and arrived full of dried leaves and twigs. It appeared they were stored outdoors, although I was assured they would be stored in air conditioned facility. When I called the company to report the state of my belongings and file a claim on my broken items, I was told they don't handle that, they referred me a third party company that you can only reach by email. One month later, I haven't heard anything back regarding my claim, and they state they may not pay, they just take the complaints. I will never use this company again as they obviously sub contract out the jobs to inexperienced movers.
