This company will extort you for more than their original BINDING contract. They currently have my items and I've had to seek counsel since they have no legal right to keep them. They presented me with a rescission and new contract AFTER they had loaded my items on the truck, which isn't only illegal, but is contradictory to their own terms written on the back of the contract: "the carrier and shipper may execute a revised/rescission document, PRIOR TO LOADING OR OTHERWISE BEGINNING THE JOB." They claim that there were more items than I had declared, even though I went through the inventory list with them and they agreed that all that was packed was what I declared. They then claimed "it took up more space than they anticipated." Well that's not my problem. So I am now in a legal battle, living in an empty apartment, and my stuff is in the hands of God knows who. I used to work for the Better Business Bureau in WA. This company was recently purchased by new owners and the membership transferred. The new owners are not responsible for the "positive" rating. PLUS, I'm sorry to say, but money goes a long with at the BBB.
