I have been lied to and treated like crap by Mainline Moving. Promises to return many phone calls were never kept. Loading and Unloading at my convenience which was promised by Maxx is a bunch of BS. A promise to deliver my belongings in 3 to 5 days was not honored. I feel that I mean nothing as a customer to Mainline Moving. When the 3-5 days passed, I finally received a promise to deliver on Tuesday evening shortly after 5pm (day 10) from the Seattle dispatcher. Tuesday evening I was sitting at home waiting for a truck until 7pm when I had to place a call to Mainline because nobody called me to let me know they would not be there. Harp then told me that the moving truck supposedly broke down outside of Pendleton while on its way to Idaho. When the delivery people arrived finally on Thursday, I found out they never had a breakdown and had picked up my belongings in Portland the day before. One of the delivery guys had the worst attitude and was rude as hell to me when he arrived Thursday morning and ranted for 20 minutes that I should be happy I was receiving my belongings at all, not at the scheduled 8am delivery time that Harp promised but at 10:15am. My Expensive King size mattress was strapped to the back of the truck in rainy Portland, although covered in plastic, it was soaked on one side and now has water damage. My beautiful dining room table had to have been dropped on one side at some time and two of the corners were damaged. My brother had to put the TV stand back together. Two of the handles of my Armoire were broken and have to be replaced. The mover stated that things like that happen and gave me a number to call. I was given a website by Harp to submit claims for these items, I have my doubt that anything will be done or that I will receive compensation.
Mainline Transportation lies and treats people with very little respect. I am posting this review so others don’t pay for the same treatment that I have received!
