This was the absolutely the WORST company I have ever worked with. Here's a breakdown of why I will never use Mainline Transportation again and why I hope no one else uses them either:
They showed up one day and 4 hours late causing us to change our plans and leave late for our move.
They quoted us $1900 and after coming and picking up our stuff and re-taping boxes that were already taped, they charged us $2838. In other words they upped our price by NINE HUNDRED DOLLARS, $300 of which was just in unnecessary "packing materials".
They told us our stuff would be delivered in 3-5 days. Instead we received our stuff in 25 days. Yes, that's nearly a MONTH after they picked it up. We slept on the floor and had to buy all new food, shower stuff, everything...
Not only did they show up nearly a month after picking up our stuff, but the entire time they treated us like dirt. We called David, the man over our account, several times and each time he lied to us about where they were and how long it would be. For example, the first time we called him (after 6 days of waiting) he said our stuff would be there by the end of that week... well 2 weeks later we had heard the same story about 10 different times and still hadn't seen our stuff. I finally got fed up and called him myself (my husband had previously been talking to him) and David actually yelled at me and told me that he doesn't have to give me a dime when I asked for a discount since they were taking so long etc etc.
Long story short, they were rude and unapologetic and their service was the worst I've ever seen.
DON'T USE MAINLINE TRANSPORTATION.
