First of all, no one answers the phone at this "company". 1 out of every 10 calls is answered by an office person who is apathetic, ineffective and knows nothing. My experience is based on purchasing items from Bograds Furniture Store who then sub contract out their delivery service to Mahwah Movers.
1. No one called me to schedule my delivery when they said they would.
2. I had to call several times at different times throughout the day to schedule my delivery.
3. Once my delivery date was set, no one contacted me on the day they said they would to give me my 3-hour window.
4. On the day of my delivery when I had to take off work, I was given a 1-4pm hour window. I was told that I would be called 30 minutes prior to the delivery.
5. No one called at 4pm.
6. When I called to get an ETA, I was told another 1.5 hours.
7. The office person Jennifer said there was nothing they could do. It was raining and that caused the delay.
8. Delivery was made 2 hours after the last window timeframe.
Do not expect anyone to answer your calls or return them. I found the person who answered the phone useless. She never identified herself of apologized. I asked to speak to the manager and she did not apologize either. There was nothing they can do. There are tons of companies out there, do not use Mahwah Movers. I hope businesses that use Mahwah Movers to deliver their items will pay attention to the poor service that customers must endure.
