I've used Lightning Van Lines twice and they made the nightmare of moving as dreamy as can be. Simplicity and efficiency is key. Day of moves, they showed up 5 minutes early and were done within an hour.
The movers are friendly. They don't complain. Nor did they blink when it turned out my estimate (2nd move) was a little shortsighted (I had way more stuff than I thought). They even moved an additional couch down three flights to my friend's apartment for free. And then seemed genuinely thrilled and grateful for a tip.
They'll move anything. Local. Long distance. A whole apartment. A single piece of furniture. They're great. Their number is saved in my phone for any and all future moves.
