Anyone who is reading this , Please be warned that they are the worst , most unprofessional movers around. They told us they cannot deliver on the date that was in the contract. it was a state to state move and we had booked our flights to be there when they came to deliver. (the tickets were not refundable)They sent two people to move a 5 room house. They got tired by noon and started banging on things. By 3 p.m. they had broken the kids loft bed into pieces. scratched the walls and blew a fuse. at 7 in the evening , the driver said that he cannot take some things since the truck had to fit in stuff from seven more houses. We had to rent a small u-haul and drive from OR to CA for the left over stuff. When they finally delivered (the things were in storage all this time) , A Solid Oak Futon was broken , A $1500 formal dining table was missing its leg(Levitz discontinued this model and we are left with a table with no leg), The kids lost their entire bedroom set , Vaccuum cleaner (almost brand new $300) was missing, The console table was missing the glass shelf, Missing tool box from the garage , torn kids mattress, coffee table was missing its leg. when we called the next morning , the operator picked up and said that they are looking for our things in the warehouse. It was the same story every day. finally they stopped picking our calls and never once apologised. The move cost us $4000 + almost 3/4 of our furniture was missing / broken. They operate under Moving start llc. We regret not taking extra insurance.
