I'm brokenhearted, seriously. I put my trust in this company and they really screwed me over. I don't really put much stock in negative online reviews, but this experience has been so horrible that I don't want other people to go through the same difficulties that I did. So here I am writing a negative review, and I hope that you read it and believe it, because if I had done the same maybe I'd still have my property. When the movers arrived (45 minutes late) they were quick to get my things packed up on the van and then jack up my price by over two thousand dollars. I paid my first installment (heck they already had my things on their van) and crossed my fingers. I hoped that going with the flow they would respect my things. When my items arrived in Washington, DC a couple of my boxes had been opened, sifted through and items that I packed were gone. They STOLE from me on an interstate move. I spoke to the police who told me they couldn't do anything for me because there was no address of theft. Apparently it becomes a problem of jurisdiction. I tried to speak to a manager who denied any wrong-doing but who claimed that he would "look into the matter." I never heard from him again. I filed a claim with their insurance company who offered me an appalling and offensive $50 for my stolen property. I have filed a claim with the BBB, and if it comes down to it, I will take them to court. They have no scruples, and a complete inability to take responsibility. This company should be shut down. Please take this advice, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. THEY STOLE FROM ME.
